About On Golden Pond
Norman Thayer and his wife, Ethe, have had a summer cottage on Golden Pond since early in their marriage, which they visit for a holiday each year. The couple’s daughter Chelsea arrives with her fiance Bill and his son. Chelsea and Bill go on their own holdiay, leaving Bill’s son with Chelsea’s parents, but her father and the young boy do not get along.
