About Anna Christie
A sailor sends his daughter to live with relatives at the age of 5, and 15 years later she returns, but keeps the horrible time she had living away a secret. She falls in love with a sailor that her father rescued from a sinking boat, but her father will not allow them to marry, as several family members have died at sea, and he believes marrying a sailor and spendinf so much time at sea will be dangerous.
