About In the Heat of the Night
African American detective, Virgil Tibbs, is accused of murdering a rich caucasian man in a racist southern town. Once the Tibb’s identity has been established as a renowned Philadelphia homicide detective, the town’s police reluctantly accept Tibb’s help in solving the murder.
